Releasenotes:
Japanese veteran DJ Sodeyama lands on Observant with DAGDA, the label's
26th offering, delivering a concise yet forceful statement shaped for
dark, pressure-driven spaces. Known for balancing physical impact with
precise control, Sodeyama strips his language to its essentials here with
dense low-end weight, charged atmospheres, and restless rhythmic motion.

Across the EP, electricity hums beneath the surface. Rolling momentum,
skippy high-end movement, and bleep-laced percussive details lock into
muscular frameworks that hit hard without excess. Rising synth tension and
crisp basslines drive peak moments, while more tripped-out passages lean
into detached vocal fragments and modulated tones, pulling the energy
inward without losing grip. Sci-fi inflections colour the edges, adding
character rather than spectacle.

DAGDA is a focused, club-ready release-lean, physical, and finely
calibrated-capturing Sodeyama's sound at its most direct while fitting
seamlessly into Observant's forward-leaning catalogue.
